Psychometric Tool - MMPI

MMPI-2® (Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory) is a multifaceted personality assessment questionnaire. It is the most common tool in the clinical practice of examining personality and adult psychopathology. It contains over 100 scales to identify symptoms of personal and social dysfunction. One of its important advantages is the incorporation of three important scales of credibility and reliability. These scales allow extraordinary interpretation or the complete rejection of a profile as unreliable or valid - despite the appearance (or not) of psychopathology. It can be used both in the clinical practice for diagnosis and therapeutic planning but also in the judicial framework for Psychiatric Expertise. In addition, it can be used to take sensitive risk or safety positions, career guidance and staff selection.

MMPI®-2 consists of 567 closed-type questions (True or False) and the average fill time is 1,5 to 2 hours. The completion of MMPI-2® is preceded by a detailed clinical history. Only specially qualified examiners have the right to receive and analyze the test.

All Programs of “Veresies” Clinic are approved and supervised by the Cyprus National Addictions Authority (CNAA).
