It is quite natural for pregnant women to experience positive but also negative emotions during pregnancy, both for pregnancy itself and for the changes that will follow with the child's arrival.
The most common symptoms experienced by a pregnant woman are anxiety that can include irritability (anger outbursts) and / or intermittent melancholic disposition (as well as depression).
If anxiety remains low, then it can be productive for the woman’s adequate planning.
For the management of anxiety and / or melancholy, it is important to firstly use your supportive environment (where it exists) so that everyone productively contributes during pregnancy, where you may need help, with activities you could have done before. The help will also be useful with the advent of the child.
In situations where there were some difficulties in relationships (e.g. conjugal problems) or financial difficulty, these relationships may be aggravated. If you experience such difficulties, it is important to receive psychological and / or socio-economic support. If you had a negative past experience, such as a child's loss, it is normal for you to experience intense anxiety during pregnancy.
Make sure you take care of yourself and are in frequent contact with your doctor and / or receive psychological support. In many of the women experiencing melancholic feelings at the onset of pregnancy, mood improves progressively.
